Welcome to Amaladate! When you use our service, you're agreeing to these terms. If something here doesn't work for you, we totally understand—but that means you shouldn't use the service.
We might need to update these terms occasionally. If we do, we'll let you know. By continuing to use Amaladate after updates, you're agreeing to the new terms.
To join Amaladate, you need to:
Right now, Amaladate is only available in Lagos and Oyo states. We're working on expanding to more locations soon!
By making a payment, you're confirming that you're based in one of these states and you understand that our service is limited to these areas. Since we're upfront about this, refunds for users outside our coverage area won't be granted.
When you sign up, please give us accurate information about yourself. Keep your account secure—don't share your password with anyone.
If someone gets into your account without permission, let us know right away. Whatever happens on your account is your responsibility, so guard those login details!
Amaladate costs ₦5,000 for lifetime access. Once you pay, you're in for good. This payment is non-refundable (except where the law says otherwise).
We handle all payments through Paystack, so your payment info is safe. We might adjust pricing for new members down the road, but your lifetime access stays locked in at ₦5,000.
Your profile is your introduction to potential matches. Use recent photos of yourself—no group photos where we can't tell which one is you. Be honest in your bio. Catfishing isn't cool, and it's definitely not allowed here.
Make sure you own the rights to any photos you upload. Don't use someone else's pics or pretend to be someone you're not.
Look, we want Amaladate to be a safe space for everyone. Don't:
Here's the deal: you get one match per day based on your amala spot preferences. If you vibe with your match, you can send them a date request with a time and place you'd like to meet.
Both people need to confirm for the date to happen. If plans change, you can cancel—just give at least 3 hours notice so nobody shows up to an empty table.
We can't promise you'll get matches every day or that every date will be amazing. We're here to facilitate connections, but the rest is up to you!
Amaladate helps you meet people in real life, which is exciting! But please be smart about it:
We connect people, but we can't control what happens on your dates. Your safety is your responsibility, so please be careful out there.
Everything on Amaladate—the design, features, code—belongs to us. When you post photos or content, you keep ownership, but you're giving us permission to use it on the platform.
We need this permission to show your profile to matches and make the service work. Don't worry, we won't use your photos for anything weird.
We might need to suspend or delete your account if you break these rules, scam people, or do something illegal. We'll also remove accounts that haven't been used in a long time.
You can delete your account whenever you want through your settings. Once it's gone, it's gone—you'll lose access immediately.
Amaladate is provided as-is. We're doing our best, but we can't promise:
We're not responsible for what happens between you and other members, including dates gone wrong. Amaladate can't be held liable for:
This might sound harsh, but it's standard for services like ours. We're facilitating connections, not guaranteeing outcomes.
If someone sues us because of something you did on Amaladate—like harassing someone or posting illegal content—you agree to cover those costs. Don't get us in trouble, and we won't have a problem.
These terms are governed by Nigerian law. If there's ever a legal dispute, it'll be handled in Nigerian courts. Hopefully it never comes to that!
If anything here is confusing or you need clarification, we're happy to help:
