1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Amaladate ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use Amaladate, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be legally permitted to use the Service in your jurisdiction
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under the laws of Nigeria or your country of residence
• Not have been previously banned from the Service
• Comply with these Terms and all applicable laws

3. Account Registration

To use Amaladate, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Membership Fee

Amaladate requires a one-time membership fee of ₦5,000 to access the Service. By making payment, you agree that:

• The fee is non-refundable except as required by law
• Payment grants lifetime access to the Service
• We reserve the right to modify pricing for new members with notice
• All payments are processed securely through Paystack

5. User Content and Conduct

5.1 Your Content

You are responsible for the content you post on Amaladate, including photos, bio, and other information. You represent that:

• You own or have the right to use all content you post
• Your content does not violate any third-party rights
• Your photos are of you and accurately represent your current appearance
• Your information is truthful and not misleading

5.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Use someone else's photos or impersonate another person
• Solicit money or financial information from other users
• Promote or advertise commercial services
• Use automated systems (bots) to access the Service
• Attempt to manipulate or abuse the matching system
• Share or publish other users' personal information
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service

6. How Amaladate Works

Amaladate provides a curated dating experience:

• One daily match based on shared amala spot preferences
• You can send date requests to your matches
• Date requests include proposed times and locations
• Both parties must confirm for a date to be scheduled
• Dates can be cancelled with appropriate notice (3+ hours)

We do not guarantee matches, dates, or specific outcomes from using the Service.

7. Safety and Meetings

Important: Amaladate facilitates in-person meetings. You are responsible for your own safety. We strongly recommend:

• Meeting in public places
• Telling a friend or family member about your plans
• Staying sober and alert
• Trusting your instincts
• Reading our Safety Guidelines

Amaladate is not responsible for any interactions or meetings that occur outside the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, functionality, and content (excluding user content), is owned by Amaladate and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Behavior that harms other users or the Service
• Extended period of inactivity

You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease immediately.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

• That you will find matches or dates
• The accuracy of user profiles or information
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• That the Service will meet your expectations
• The conduct or safety of other users

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AMALADATE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Any damages arising from interactions with other users
• Any damages from meetings arranged through the Service
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Any damages exceeding the amount you paid for membership

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Amaladate from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of another person.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
